Warranty

All MammaCangura products and accessories are covered by a Warranty for defects caused by actions or negligence by the manufacturer (i.e. defects of materials and workmanship) for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase of the product.

The warranty is valid so long as the customer has kept the proof of the original sales/purchase receipt indicating the date of the purchase.

The Warranty extends exclusively to the original purchaser and it is non-transferable to a third party who may obtain ownership at a later date.

To make a claim under the warranty, the consumer must present the sales/purchase receipt to the retailer or ship the product back to the distributor as the case may be.

If the product requires shipping to the distributor, the product must be returned in its original packaging, which includes box, any documentation and accessories.

Should a defect related to materials and workmanship be discovered during the above Warranty period, the customer must notify the vendor in writing within two months from the date of discovery. In such case, the retailer, distributor or manufacturer will, depending on the circumstances, either repair or replace the product free of charge at their sole and absolute discretion.

For warranty service, or replacement part information, contact the retailer where the purchase was made. Please include a short report on the warranty issue, including product name, the serial number and the proof of purchase indicated above.

If the retailer or vendor is unable to repair the product or defect, you will have to obtain the RAN (Return Authorization Number) from the distributor. The product will then be returned to the distributor accompanied by a full description of the complaint made along with the sales/purchase receipt and the RAN will be clearly indicated on the return packaging.

If the product was bought over the internet, all shipping and delivery costs shall be at the expense of the customer to which costs shall be reimbursed by the distributor once the distributor analyzes your warranty claim, validates and honours the warranty claim within a period of one (1) month.

Repairs do not give entitlement to any extensions to the duration of the original Warranty.

The warranty is valid for products which have been used properly and with due care, for their intended use and in accordance with the contents of the instructions manual.

The warranty is not covered and valid in the following circumstances:

  1. Failure to follow the instructions;
  2. Incorrect installation;
  3. Alteration of the product;
  4. Improper use of the product;
  5. Inaccurate maintenance of the product;
  6. Non-compliance with the instructions and procedures described in the instructions manual;
  7. Misuse, or abuse of the product;
  8. Involvement in an accident;
  9. Normal wear and tear from use of the product;
  10. When the defect is due to superior force or force majeure or causes which in any case cannot be attributed to the actions or negligence on the part of the distributor or manufacturer;
  11. When the product was used for any professional activities;
  12. When the product was used in rental operations;
  13. If the serial number of the product has been removed or altered.

In light of the foregoing, MammaCangura, Hevelius Corporation or Bellelli cannot be held liable or responsible when the warranty is invalid as herein stated above. The distributor or the manufacturer decline all liabilities for any loss or damage, either direct or indirect to persons, property or animals due to non-compliance with the warnings and precautions listed in the Instructions Manual attached to the product.

In cases where the distributor or manufacturer discovers after further analysis that the defect is not covered by the present warranty, all inspection, shipment costs and repairs costs and expenses will be charged to the customer.

The customer’s sole remedy for breach of the Warranty or of any implied warranty, or of any other obligations arising by operating of law or otherwise is specifically limited to the repair or replacement of the product, at our sole option, as specified above. In any event, responsibility for special, incidental and consequential damages is explicitly excluded.

Some provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state, province to province or country.
